Faith Believers' Ministry

I'm working on a documentary for my final photo class at OU! I'm working with the Faith Believers' Ministry in Mineral, Ohio and the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry run by the church. Reverend Ray Ogburn and his wife Anita have been wonderful to me and I have had such a great time so far. The church has a congregation of 15, but most weeks there are 10 people (myself included) so it is very different than what I have experienced myself.

I've only been shooting for a few weeks and have 400+ photos. I wanted to get something up, so here's a taste and I'll add more soon!

Ray and Anita Ogburn lay hands on eachother and pray after church, while members of the congregation join in.

More Wrestling

I got to shoot the Division 1 wrestling district championships last night. It was a big difference than shooting last week. Most of these matches were over in under 5 minutes. The final match was for the 285 lb. championships, and lasted only 55 seconds! I'm not as happy with these images, but it was still fun.

West Side Market

Today is the first nice day in a while. It was 50 degrees and sunny, which by Cleveland standards, means no coats and everyone in the city was out! I went to the West Side Market in Ohio City, with Mom & Ron, and it was packed!!!

Its been a while since I've just shot for fun and for the love of it, and today was a nice opportunity. Lots of food pictures. Nothing super exciting to show, but I it was great to enjoy taking pictures again.
Man did I miss this feeling. Sensory overload is the best way to describe it, with all the fresh fruits and veggies, meats and cheeses and desserts galore!!! Its the best way to show all the sides of Cleveland.

This is the view from the balcony seats in the meat & cheese section of the market.

An entire stand of fresh citrus. It smelled incredible!

Some of the biggest loafs of bread ever!

Mmm, my favorite! Chocolate covered strawberries decorated for Valentine's day.

There's an entire section of the market dedicated to fresh fish. Smelled terrible, and the fish look creepy!
